Our entire staff is trained in recognizing the body language of cats and gentle handling techniques. Monitoring for pain and distress is every staff member’s responsibility. Our patient housing is mobile, allowing us to keep critical patients in our line of sight or move frightened cats to a private area. Our patient housing is made from polymers that are warmer and quieter than traditional steel cages. Our surgical recovery beds are heated. Our medical care housing offers a resting area with a raised shelf as well as a separate litter box compartment.
Stable patients needing continued care may be kept overnight but you should be aware that there is not attendant. Unstable patients or those needing on-going treatment or monitoring will be referred to a 24 hour facility. You will be responsible for transporting your cat. If you do not want your cat unattended at night, please request a transfer.
