Please have records transferred 48 hours before your appointment. If your previous vet is located in Kentucky, please be prepared to deliver or fax a signed records release form to them as required by state law. Although invoices may contain some information, actual medical records are superior and invaluable in understand your cat’s previous medical issues and care. Getting Your Cat into the Carrier
- Carrier needs to open from the top.
- Leave it open in the center of the room as soon as you make your appointment.
- Pheromones such as Feliway or Comfort Zone helps cats feel safer and more comfortable.
- Brunch on Sundays-feed your cat in the open carrier every Sunday morning and it will be easy to get your cat to go in at other times.
What is Zoonotic Disease?
Part of our duty in veterinary medicine is to safeguard the health of humans from diseases carried by animals (zoonosis). If you or a member of your household does not have a normal immune system, such as due to pregnancy, treatment for cancer or autoimmune disease, AIDs, or other health issue, please consider sharing that information with us. We will respect your trust and use that information exclusively to help protect your health.
